All our products have to comply with the Ecodesign of Energy Related Products Directive 2009/125/EC which controls and aims to reduce the energy consumption of all electronic devices.
All of our Free to Air TV receivers and recorders include an Auto Standby feature where it switches itself into standby mode after a period of time to avoid being inadvertently left on and therefore consuming power when it is not required. This feature has an override function available in the Settings menu.
