Some of our older DAB radio's are unable to receive the new Sound Digital Multiplex. Back when these radios were designed, DAB was in it's infancy and many radio's could only receive multiplexes between 11B and 12D. The new national Sound Digital multiplex transmits on 11A, it was not thought that this range of frequencies would be used at the time.
