GPS02 : Why does it go into standby after 20 minutes?

Due to ECO regulation requirements, the GPS02 Boombox with CD Player and FM/MW Radio incorporates a power saving feature:

 

When in CD mode or AUX mode, once audio playback has ceased and the unit has stood idle for approximately 20 minutes, it will switch into a ‘power-down’ power saving mode.

 

To wake the unit up, press the Resume button.
